Did you know that The Greenery’s floral division maintains over 65,000 square feet of floral displays each month? That’s more than 750,000 square feet of glorious, beautiful, eye-catching flowers each year!

You may wonder how in the world do they handle all of this? It takes the dedication and talent of ten floral technicians under the leadership of The Greenery’s Regional Seasonal Color Managers, Christina Harden and Catrina Dickinson, to get the job done. Their hardwork is evident in the amazing and colorful displays that help to enhance so many of our clients’ landscape…

Who are the talented leaders that guide this group?

Christina Harden has over 14 years of experience in floral design and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BBA. She earned a horticulture diploma from Ogeechee Technical College and did an apprenticeship and internship in floral design and floral setting before coming to The Greenery. She is the recipient of the Hilton Head Island Beautification award for Long Cove in 2012, 2013, 2018, Greenery

Catrina Dickinson graduated with a BA from University of California Santa Barbara. She is experienced in floral design, and has installed and maintained annual beds and perennial gardens in various locations throughout the southeast. She has over 15 years of experience in floral design and maintenance. She is a recipient of the MALTA award for her commercial color displays and received the Hilton Head Island Beautification award for the Port Royal Plantation entrance.

What does a Regional Seasonal Color Manager do?

They oversee the Floral Technicians, design seasonal color beds, coordinate maintenance schedules, order materials create proposals, implement education/improvement plans for team members and conduct training sessions with our internal maintenance branches. Christina and Catrina are also very organized - they design, plan and order material 9 to 10 months in advance. Early planning involves researching online, communicating with vendors, and attending horticultural events and seminars to educate themselves on new plant materials, fertilization programs and new technology in our industry. Their main focus is to ensure optimal appearance and performance of every color bed all year round.

Christina and Catrina’s attention to detail and commitment to providing the best flower displays we possibly can to our clients makes them very successful at their jobs and creates happy clients.
